Accessible entrance at Doryssa Method Hotel with a Ganser GDLE platform lift

At the Doryssa Method Hotel in Samos, the outdoor stone staircase made access difficult for visitors with mobility issues and wheelchair users traveling from the pedestrian walkway to the entrance level.
bb Bibikas Special undertook the installation of a Ganser GDLE stair lift platform, tailored to the existing layout. Due to elevated humidity conditions, the system was equipped with AISI 316 stainless steel rails, ideally suited for this specific environment.
Special attention was also given to the aesthetic integration of the structure. The color was selected in the same RAL shade as the building, allowing the platform to blend harmoniously into the hotel’s facade.
When not in use, the platform folds away, minimizing the space it takes up and keeping the staircase clear for daily foot traffic.
The result is a discreet and functional accessibility solution that facilitates entrance access to the hotel without altering the character of the space.
